BROWSER GAME
A block-built survival sandbox in a browser tab — mine, craft, farm, trade and survive the night in a world generated from a seed, with a co-op wave mode built into the same engine.
STRATA is a survival sandbox built out of blocks, running in a browser tab. A world is generated from a seed the moment you start: rolling plateaus, caves that run as tunnels, ore in its own depth bands, villages with streets and houses, sealed dungeons. You mine it with tools that get faster tier by tier, craft at a table, smelt and cook in a furnace, farm, fish and trade with villagers for emeralds — and when the sun sets, the dark is real: zombies, spiders and archer skeletons come out, and a torch is the difference between a safe room and a spawner. A second game lives inside the same engine: SIEGE, a co-op wave defence on three built arenas.
STRATA is a block-built survival sandbox that runs in a browser tab: a world you mine, craft, farm and defend, generated from a seed the moment the page opens. It is for people who want a whole game loop on the web, not a voxel tech demo.
Most “browser game” offerings are either heavy engine exports or toy demos that fall apart the moment you look under the hood. This build is neither.
You get a complete survival game: a seeded world with caves, ores, villages and dungeons, a day and night that matter, tools and crafting, farming and fishing, villagers to trade with — and a second co-op wave mode built into the same engine.
| Section | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Light That Propagates | Two light channels baked per block, so the dark is real and a torch is a decision |
| A World From A Seed | Terrain, caves, ores, villages and dungeons, all a pure function of one number |
| The Whole Survival Loop | Mine, craft, eat, farm, fish and trade — with the real tool and break-time rules |
| A Game That Teaches Itself | Step-by-step walkthroughs, a do-it-for-me button, and an offline helper you can ask |
| SIEGE: A Second Game Inside | A co-op wave mode on the same engine, where the light rule is the mechanic |
The art direction is a sunlit block world with real weather in its light: warm days, long dusks, and nights that are properly dark.
The game targets desktop first — keyboard and mouse are the primary controls — while staying light enough to load instantly anywhere.
A playable game holds attention longer than any showreel. The page around it is structured to turn that attention into a next step.
STRATA is built to be played, not just watched. A few notes before you build on it.
Plain scripts on a vendored Three.js — no engine, no bundler, no build step, and no binary assets at all: the terrain atlas, every creature, every item icon and the sky are painted in code at boot, and every sound is synthesised in WebAudio. The world streams in chunks through a mesher that handles full cubes, crossed-quad plants and box-shaped blocks, lit by two propagated light channels. Each feature ships behind its own headless test rig — navigation audits for every SIEGE arena, light and spawn gates, trading, crafting and sound — and the screenshots on this page come out of the same build.

Yes. The full live build is embedded on this page and the Preview button opens it in its own tab. No signup, no watermark, no time limit.
The exact production prompt that built STRATA — the art direction, the structure and the engineering notes as they were actually written. It is a one-time unlock in the prompt shop and it stays yours.

Every section listed in the sidebar and in the overview table is built and working in the live preview. There are 5 of them, and each one is described in the Page Sections panel beside the article — expand any row to read what it does.
No. Everything runs in a modern browser on desktop or mobile. Open the live preview and it works.
